God's Purposes in Our Difficulties
Romans 8:28-29How many of us would pick up how many difficulties you want in day? From level 1, being zero, to 10 being the most difficult, would you pick 10? God can use difficulties and trials to achieve His goals in our lives. How do I benefit from trials and tribulations? a. We grow closer to Him. b. We pray more often and with greater intensity. c. We look for our closest friends at church to help us by interceding for us. His plan is that we grow in an intimate relationship with Him. He knows we will struggle with our faith. He knows we will have to struggle with our flesh to succumb to letting His will be done in us. But it all works for the best. For others, it will have to do with facing if they place their finances, their workplace, families or their pleasures before God. So trials and difficulties will help us develop by giving Him His rightful place. It helps us to conform us to be the image of Jesus. He will sift and prune us so the sanctification process moves along in our lives to shape us into Christ like character. It will help us to focus on our commitment and convictions. In these time we confront the thought, Do I truly believe in Him? Just remember all the men and women who went through distress in their lives, in the Old and New Testament, and you will see Gods faithfulness being poured out to us. So all things work for our good.
