Matthew 5:48 The word perfect means: being wholly without flaw or thoroughly skilled or talented in a certain field or area; proficient. Completely suited for a particular purpose or situation. Have you ever thought that God will put you to the test to see if you are going to obey His Word or not? It says in Deuteronomy 8:1, 2 that He will do so in order to see if you are going to obey His Word or not.
Maybe someone in the past or today, will hurt you or go against you, and say words that will bring sadness to your heart. Just remember, "be perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect." It could be your own family, a friend of yours or even a brother or sister in Christ. Walking away or getting back at them with the same or worst attitude won´t help you. Think about this, walking away or going somewhere else will make you fail the test. Why? Because there are other people with a different name and face that will do the same to you in another occasion. So past the test and be perfect as our wonderful Father. God bless you this day.
